Job summary

The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI) is responsible for enabling Alberta's agriculture and food sectors to flourish. The Animal Health Assurance Branch works closely with Alberta's livestock industries to ensure animal health.

Responsibilities

  • Lead legislative updates, develop policy, and provide program guidance on animal health and welfare.
  • Conduct consultations with stakeholders.
  • Represent Alberta's interests on committees.
