SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Logistics Admin is responsible for reporting monthly sales records and indirect / direct prime cost and inventory check results. Logistics Admin works with planning team as managing current issues and counterplan. Logistics Admin also attends daily meeting, receives & ships orders, requests rate quotation and dispatch to pick up shipments. Logistics Admin is also responsible for warehouse management.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sign driver in and out of the facility; verifying all paperwork
- Assign dock doors to the inbound and outbound loads
- Process Bills of Lading and associated shipping and receiving documents
- Reconcile inbounds with packing slips and coordinate drop lot activity
- Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
- Provide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Maintain Inbound and Outbound Schedules
- Work closely with management and leads to accomplish daily goals
- Report errors and/ or issues to appropriate member of leadership to ensure accuracy
- Willing to perform forklift responsibilities when needed
- Performs all duties in a safe and timely manner
- Documenting and completing closing data for monthend
QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computersavvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
