Surgical Solutions Network, a division of Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for a part time Patient Advisor.

Monday - Friday - Evenings
**Saturday - Sunday 10 Am

JOB PURPOSE
You will ensure that inquiries are tracked in appropriate systems and reporting will be critical to your success. It is a collaborative environment where client care is the number one priority. Cultivate relationships and join our clients through their healthcare journey and facilitate an efficient patient experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds to daily client inquiries (phone, website and physician referrals) by providing education on the centre's services and programs; clarifying costing, financing options, clinical studies, FAQ's and physician information
  • Build a trustworthy rapport, maintain ongoing dialogue with the patient, disseminate educational materials, recommend procedures;
  • Effectively collects required patient data and diagnostic prior to surgeon consultation and all other necessary patient package and payment information
  • Coordinates appointments between the patient and surgeon and/or other Clinicians when requested
  • Identifies and resolves client concerns with urgency and good judgment to provide continuity of care including fulfilling any requests received from clients
  • Accurately updates patient records in EMR Juvonno, maintaining privileged and highly confidential information involving client care
  • Provide daily reports and dashboards to management that contribute to effective channels thus allowing an effective intake process and lead generation using CRM daily
  • Advocates for a working environment where continuous process improvement is a focus
  • Collaborate with managers, physicians and support staff to facilitate case progression
  • Actively participates in all required meetings by summarizing key learnings and identifying trends pertinent to patient care and outcomes
  • Keep current knowledge of key competitors including location, pricing, and programming
  • Provide backup support to other Patient Advisors as required

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum University graduate in business, health sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of medical administrative experience is preferred
  • Experience in working with robust CRMs and/or electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple demands by prioritizing effectively and respecting deadlines
  • Demonstrate logical and ethical decision making abilities
  • Excellent aptitude for interpersonal relations combined with an ability to interact with senior management and peers in a professional and efficient manner
  • Strong analytical skills and intuitive grasp of data
  • Strong copy writing and oral skills
  • Proficient in advanced MS Office software and customer service related technological platforms
  • Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code._
