Role overview
The National Distribution Analyst is an intermediate-level position and is responsible for distribution to multiple provinces across Canada.

The job incorporates monitoring and analyzing 3rd party warehouse inventories, creating replenishment POs and transfer orders, and reporting forecasting and inventory updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Supports inventory control management and owns the relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


What you'll be doing

  • Monitor national 3rd party warehouse inventory levels, demand trends, and shipment forecasts to ensure optimal level of stock to support commercial organization at lowest cost possible.
  • Provide an overview of the current stock and create new replenishment orders and interprovincial transfers.
  • Create POs, SOs, Transfer orders, and accurately fill out and submit appropriate forms for interprovincial transfers.
  • Provide regular updates to commercial teams on the status of the current and inbound stock as well as any upcoming stock risks.
  • Verify and ensure accuracy of POs and PO confirmations from the source points; flag any discrepancies and provide corrective measures.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts and support ongoing inventory management best practices.
  • Daytoday communication with logistics providers, warehouse personnel, other external parties on the regular activities
  • Work as a liaise between the commercial teams and S&OP regarding stock and logistics related inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:


  • A University Degree in Supply chain or Business preferred.
  • Proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Must have 3 years' experience in Inventory Management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Understanding of base principals of ERP systems.
  • Intermediate level understanding of inventory control management systems, WMS. Business Central experience is an asset.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Accuracy in documentation management.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn fast and independently.
