Here's What You'll Get to Do

:

Supervise the activities of their modality, including staff scheduling and coordination of patient flow
Assist Senior Manager as appropriate with identifying and developing strategies to streamline operations and improve programs/services
Act as a liaison between the Senior Manager and staff for operational and functional issues
Assists in the evaluation of new equipment and completion of capital projects
In consultation with the Senior Manager, provides ongoing coaching to support staff performance
Promote a positive working climate
Actively participates in DIR quality initiatives
Investigates Safety Reports and incident reviews in consultation with Senior Manager
Responsible for accreditation and regulatory activities within their domain of practice

Here's What You'll Need

:

Five (5+) years diagnostic imaging experience in a hospital setting
Experience or formal education in leadership
Ability to work effectively as a team member and leader
Excellent problem recognition and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management and organization skills; ability to organize work and set priorities for self and others
Computer literacy, including MS Office products
Training in project management or process improvement preferred
A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion

Education / Memberships

Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program
Membership and registration of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in the appropriate area of responsibility is required
