    Description

Our client, an Ottawa-based, multi-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their diverse team.

    7+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant/Law Clerk
    ~ Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
    ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Adobe DC Pro and PCLaw
    ~ Draft/prepare and complete all necessary litigation documentation such as claims, defences, motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, etc. in Superior Court and Small Claims Court, Court of Appeal
    Familiarity with the Online Submissions Portal and Caselines
    Handle administrative details concerning calendar and task management, client meetings, accounting, closing files and docketing
    Other administrative duties as required
