- Ensure excellent customer service to drive high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist customers in-person and over the phone by understanding their needs and offering relevant products and services
- Establish strong trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Accurately process sales transactions in line with policies
- Meet sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
- Retrieve necessary products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Prepare products according to customer specifications
- Stock shelves and arrange displays
- Maintain cleanliness of store equipment
- Assist in loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries when required
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable
- Stay informed about products offered and discuss available choices with customers
- Adhere to inventory control procedures
- Provide suggestions to enhance sales
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
- Legally eligible to work in the country of employment
- Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
- If an internal candidate, you should have received at least a 'meets expectations' rating on your most recent performance review
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams, completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses relevant to your current role
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
- Prior experience in sales of paint and related products
- Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Capability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate proficiently in multiple languages
