    MetOcean telematics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

    This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge telematics products through rigorous validation and testing processes.

    Design, develop, and execute validation tests for hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical systems within our product line.
    Analyze test data, identify issues, and work collaboratively with the engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
    Develop and maintain documentation for validation procedures, test plans, and test reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.

    Assist in the development and implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product validation.

    Stay up to date with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the validation process.

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
    Experience in product validation/testing, preferably in the telematics, marine, or communications sectors.
    Understanding of software testing principles and experience with software validation tools and methodologies.
    Experience with firmware (embedded software) and hardware testing, including the use of debugging tools and environments.
    Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and experience validating mechanical components and systems.
    Experience with marine electronics or communications systems is a significant bonus.
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
