- Determine the extent of the mechanical problem and perform repairs.
- Order required parts.
- Adjust, repair and\or replace defective parts.
- Work safely.
- Perform other regular maintenance.
- Mininum of 3 years experience in construction equipment mechanics
- Other training certifications an asset: WHMIS, overhead crane operator, forklift operator certification.
- Able to do some welding.
- Experience and knowledge of Komatsu products an asset.
- Punctual, autonomous, proactive and a team worker.
- Sound health and safety practices.

SMS Equipment is growing We are looking for a Shop Mechanic to join our team In this role you will find solutions, make safety a priority and work with the largest, most advanced earthmoving equipment. You will be at the forefront helping to keep those machines, and the industry they service, moving This role is located in St-Bruno.
The shift for this role is 5x2.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Qualifications :
The successful candidate will possess a Heavy Equipment Technician Certification. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
