    En quoi consiste ce rôle ?

  • Vous participerez à la conception d'usines de traitement des minéraux et des infrastructures associées. Cela pourrait inclure des usines de transformation industrielle ainsi que des usines de métaux précieux ainsi que des usines de minerai de fer et des services associés.
  • En travaillant au sein d'une équipe hautement expérimentée et agissant en tant qu'ingénieur en structure principal, vous serez exposé à une succession continue de petits et grands projets, nationaux et internationaux, à mesure qu'ils progressent tout au long du cycle de vie du projet. Depuis le développement initial du concept, la conception détaillée, la construction, la mise en service et son exploitation.
  • Démontrer un niveau élevé de sécurité dans les pratiques de conception
  • Coordonner les fonctions d'ingénierie de la discipline et s'assurer qu'elles sont alignées sur les exigences du projet et livrées dans les délais et dans les limites du budget
  • Soutenir les activités de développement de projets
  • Soutenir de manière proactive la gestion de la qualité et l'amélioration continue pour nos clients tant internes qu'externes
  • Environnement de travail flexible avec une large gamme allant des études de concept à la conception détaillé
  • Bureau principalement basé à Montréal avec travaux de support sur site attendus

    • Que cherchons-nous?

  • Diplôme en ingénierie des structures
  • Inscription au titre d'ingénieur professionnel au Québec. P.Eng d'autres provinces au Canada et aux États-Unis seraient un atout
  • Minimum 8 ans d'expérience en génie des structures au Canada ou aux États-Unis
  • Une vaste expérience en ingénierie dans des environnements de conception, de conseil et d'exploitation, et une expérience antérieure dans le domaine de la transformation industrielle et/ou des mines et des métaux seraient un atout
  • Capacité à gérer soi-même son temps, ses priorités et ses activités de manière sûre et efficace
  • D'excellentes compétences en communication et en négociation
  • Familiarité avec les codes et normes de structure et expérience avec le code canadien
  • Capacités de conception avec Autodesk AutoCad, Staadpro et des logiciels de conception similaires
  • Une expérience antérieure en ingénierie de projet/livraison de projets et/ou une expérience sur site dans les opérations seraient un atout
  • Compétences linguistiques : bilingue préféré

    What does this role involve?
  • You will be involved in the design of mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure. This could include industrial processing plants as well as precious metals plants as well as iron ore plants and associated services.
  • Working across a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle. Your involvement from early concept development, detailed design, construction, commissioning to operations
  • Working in a highly experienced team, and act as the Lead Structural Engineer, you will be exposed to a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations
  • Demonstrate high standard of safety in design practices
  • To coordinate discipline engineering functions and ensure that they are aligned to the project requirements, and delivered on time and within budget requirements
  • Supporting project development activities
  • Proactively support quality management and continuous improvement for our clients both internal and external
  • Flexible working environment with a broad range from concept studies to detailed design
  • Mainly Montreal office based with expect site supports works
    • What are we looking for in our future team member?
  • Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Quebec. Other provinces in Canada and United States would be an asset;
  • At least 8 years Canadian or U.S.A. Structural Engineering experience
  • Extensive engineering experience in design/consultancy/operational environments, and previous experience in industrial processing and or mining and metals experience an asset;
  • Ability to safely and effectively self-manage time, priorities and activities;
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills;
  • Familiarity with Structural Codes and Standards and experience with Canadian building code
  • Design capabilities with Autodesk AutoCad, Staadpro and similar design software
  • Previous experience in project engineering/project delivery, and/or experience on site in operations would be highly regarded.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual preferred
