    Description
    Xaba is at the forefront of AI-driven robotics automation, pioneering cutting-edge solutions to enhance industrial processes. Headquartered globally, with a team of collaborative scientists, engineers, and designers, Xaba operates in a remote-first and distributed environment.

    As a key member of the Xaba team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI-driven robotics automation, while closely collaborating with the leadership team.

    Conducting applied research in Robotics Welding, Inspection, Machining, and Assembling to gather data. This supports the development, training, auditing, and validation of physics-based AI models for robotics fabrication processes.


    Training and Support:
    Provide training and support for deploying AI models in real-world robotic applications.
    Participate in technical workshops and contribute to conferences showcasing AI applications in robotics.
    Strong communication skills for presenting AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and training materials.
    Quality Assessment and

    Bug Reporting:
    Perform quality assessments of AI-driven robotics solutions.


    Technical Proficiency:

    Expertise in the Computer Vision field for both 2D and 3D data (data collection, cleaning, training and deployment of AI algorithms).

    Python programming language and main AI libraries (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Scikit-Learn) and computer vision modules (Open3D, OpenCV, Scikit-Image).
    Basic knowledge of robot manipulators core aspects: kinematics, path-planning and collision detection.

    These are the things you're likely to work on, so if you have any experience in the following, great C++ and/or C programming language knowledge.

    Experience with additional technologies in the AI (NLP key principles and techniques) and robotics ecosystem (hands-on experience of sensor integration, like cameras, laser trackers, etc).

    Engineering background and familiarity with AI applications in industrial settings.
    Relevant experience in AI applied to robotics or related fields.
    Background in robotics, AI, or a related technical field.

    Talk:

    You take part in a 30-45 minute screening call with the Hiring Manager to chat about the role and the team.
