Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to effectively execute the overseeing and operation of the Production Line while ensuring accuracy and material integrity.

Key to this position is to ensure that all members of the Production Team maintain a cost effective pace during line operation and that alternative tasks are designated during down time to maintain productivity and labor costs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS

With the contributions of the Supervisor/Management; assess the day's workload and determine the most suitable plan of action to ensure expectations are met.
Review any new directives that arise throughout the day
Carries out Daily Swabbing and ensures that Production Line is clean and sanitized prior to start
Organizes and prepares required materials into the Production area prior to start
Maintains Production Records (Repack) throughout the day
Manages Inventory flow and advises Supervisor/Management of discrepancies or insufficient inventory as it arises.
Unloads raw material from trailers as required
Loads finished product onto trailers as required
Designates cleaning, record keeping and other tasks throughout the day
Participates in department meetings to communicate areas of both deficiency and efficiency
Enters records into Warehouse Management System (WMS) at the end of day as required and ensures the accuracy of Finished Product, Material and Produce Inventory and Transfers.
