Description:

Our team and what we'll accomplish together

The Customer Technology Excellence (CTE) team at TELUS connects Canadians & our communities through our reliable world-leading network & platforms, underpinned by our innovation-focused growth & our best-in-class team culture.

We do this by driving humanized digital-first experiences, leveraging innovative and reliable technology infrastructure that drives value creation for our communities.

The Strategy Manager, Transformation and Enablement role sits at the center of TELUS' Customer Technology Excellence (CTE) Strategy, Enablement and Investments team.

Essentially we are a highly visible, high-performing team of "Swiss army knives" that take on a variety of ideas, stand them up, and put them into action to enable a connected team member experience across CTE to help achieve the organization's strategic goals.

In this role, you will influence cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to implementation which includes getting creative, resolving challenges, and implementing process improvements.

Here's how
-
Strategic Programs & Initiatives: You will support the delivery and execution of strategic programs and initiatives in various portfolios including Team Member Experience, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Well-Being and Real Estate - including ad-hoc "we've-never-done-this-before" initiatives
-
Team Member & Leadership Development Sessions: You will strategize, design and deliver the execution of cross-functional strategic sessions and leadership development events (virtual and in-person) - including team member roadshows and senior leader strategic forums
-
Communications & VP Enablement: You will support the enablement of our Vice President of Strategy, Enablement and Investments communications, team meetings and other strategic initiatives
-
Change Management:You will lead our internal clients (stakeholders and team members) through the change management process as we implement new, different and transformative ways of doing things
-
Presentations & storytelling:Your best-in-class storytelling ability and concise communication style will help bring strategic programs to life with audiences at multiple levels, including the executive level, and through multiple mediums - verbal, written and visual
-
Culture & structure: As a highly motivated self-starter and thought leader who has a diverse and broad business skill set, as well as a flexible and collaborative nature, you will work with all levels of leadership to create buy-in and alignment with a balanced sense of urgency

Qualifications:

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
-
Storyteller: You enjoy distilling a lot of complex information into a compelling narrative and have demonstrated facilitation abilities for all levels of leadership, including a high degree of comfort and confidence working directly with Director, VP, SVP level
-
Catalyst: You understand the importance of collaboration and teamwork to achieve best-in-class outcomes, and are excited at the prospect of building cross-organization connections to contribute to the broader organizational strategy
-
Organizer:Breaking up a large, complex problem into smaller components and building a plan to manage this complexity comes naturally to you; you have a knack for bringing order to messy processes and proposing improvements/efficiencies
-
Chameleon:You have a growth mindset, and are an engaged, results-driven high-achiever. Ambiguity and ad-hoc asks don't faze you; you're at home in an ever-changing environment and pivoting quickly in response to leadership asks to adjust our current course and speed and re-profile our current strategy
-
Bias to Action: You are a natural self-starter who embraces change and are willing to take smart risks to move initiatives forward while navigating organizational bureaucracy

Great to haves:

  • Degree in business, or related discipline
  • Telecommunications/technology knowledge or experience
  • Event management virtual and inperson
  • Visual/graphic design skills
  • Google Suite proficiency

Don't have everything we think are 'great-to-haves'? Don't let that dissuade you Attitude, motivation, and a willingness to learn and collaborate are the most important things we are looking for.

So if you think you have what it takes, please apply.
