About This Opportunity
Albro Lake Medical Centre in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking a short term locum to cover a two week leave for a family physician. This locum opportunity starts approximately March 24th to April 12th, .
There are three other physicians at this clinic.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention
Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners'
Act as a patient's advocate
Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations
Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements
Expected Hours
To be discussed with clinic.
Qualifications
Eligible for Licensure with the (CPSNS)
Eligible for certification with the (CFPC)
(CMPA)
