- Participate in Program and Division related initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Description Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting Program.
- Current License to practice Dental Assisting in Saskatchewan.
- Graduate of a Dental Implant Module or previous experience teaching Dental Implant theory and practical.
- Min. 2 years recent and relevant (2 years within the last 5 years) dental assisting experience in a dental office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current dental implant surgery principles and techniques.
- Recent experience in dental implant surgery and/or a recent experience of assisting with dental implant surgery in a clinical environment.
- Ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required knowledge and skills.
- Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
