What you'll be doing

  • At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 13 days per week onsite, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of onsite and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._
How you'll succeed

Managing CMC Technology Applications and Automation

  • Ownership and administration of technology solutions utilized by CMC to meet its regulatory obligations in the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Lead the management of technology releases, enhancements, defects, and production issues for CMC's technology solutions by engaging with Technology, Risk Management teams, and applicable vendors supporting such systems.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and policy adherence for Business Managed Technologies (BMTs) and process automations.
Strategic Initiatives

  • Continuously improve the global trade surveillance program to ensure comprehensive coverage of all relevant markets and asset classes.
  • Enhance monitoring/surveillance processes to deliver key data insights and reporting to identify trends where risks may be increasing.
Regulatory Compliance Management and Risk Assessment
- maintaining an up-to-date and thorough RCM library of regulatory requirements applicable to the Capital Markets business as per CIBC's Regulatory Compliance Management Policy and related procedures.
