Job Summary
This role reports to the Marketing and Tourism Leader with a dotted line to the Sr Leader Business Development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing, Communications and Business Development
- Setsup and operates promotions on main ticketing platform
- Assists in fulfilling Sponsor and Partner executional obligations
- Assists Marketing and Tourism Leader with partner programs as appropriate; all partner offer programs/contracts including but not limited to online travel agency programs
- Edits and proofreads written materials created by the PR team and Researcher & coordinates the editing/review of all consumerfacing materials to be delivered in a timely manner
- Manages Internal Communication Platform and Business Development Groups
- Coordinates and tracks ticket order requests and manages all inbound charity/fundraiser ticket program
- Develops and manages retail/marketing calendar
- Helps to develop Social Media content including but not limited to video production, editing, idea generation, and more
- Maurice the Moose mascot logistics
- Helps with smaller graphic design requests
- Partner gift card fulfillment
- Responsible for content for both Little Canada internal and partner screens
- Designated weekly meeting tracker and notetaking
- Assist with business development, including correspondence with clients, scheduling, and financial accounting
- Maintains shared business/sales calendars (add, remove, update numbers and payment status)
- Provide assistance with trade shows, sales calls, event bookings and event planning
Job Requirements:
- University degree/diploma in related field
- Sales and marketing experience preferably in tourism hospitality or entertainment/attraction sectors
- Creative experience with graphic design and filming will be considered an asset
- Goaloriented, articulate, creative, friendly and outgoing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Takes initiative to identify opportunities and resolve issues in a proactive manner
- Highly organized, team oriented and motivated
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationship with key business partners and stake holders
- Strong problem identification and problemsolving skills
- Some evening and weekend work may be required
- This is an inperson role at 10 Dundas St East
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
