Description

The Landscaper Team Lead is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds of the buildings and properties on behalf of York Property Management and overseeing the Landscaping team in London, Ontario.

This position has the opportunity to transition to Snow Removal Team lead in the Winter months.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the landscaping team
  • Maintain exterior ground of the properties
  • Weeding grounds
  • Planting flowers
  • Trimming trees
  • Repairing fences
  • Painting fences or exteriors
  • Repairing signage
  • Move materials as required
  • Clear and dispose of any debris/garbage on assigned properties
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of the exterior of properties
  • Keep log of daily tasks completed
  • Maintain equipment and tools
  • Oversee and approve time card reports for landscaping team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of landscaping equipment
  • Knowledge of safe operation of landscaping equipment
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service and public interaction skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 22kg
  • A valid driver's license
