About the Reservations Specialist Position:


Responsibilities:


  • Making reservations for guides based on their various requirements
  • Checking the availability of accommodations or transportation on the customers' desired travel dates.
  • Assisting the sales team in advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
  • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to Guides and Operations Managers
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  • Answering any questions Guides and Operations Managers might have about the reservation process.
  • Upselling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
  • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation

Requirements:


  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience working in ticket administration, hospitality or travel industries.
  • Customerservice experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Willingness to learn complex reservations systems
