Develop structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing aircraft programs.# Generate preliminary design studies and layouts using 3D modeling.
# Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
# Supply input to impact analysis (technical, cost, schedule).
# Support directly other engineering and operations departments.
# Provide status for project and functional management.
# As our ideal candidate, you have a technologist or bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or aerospace technical field plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the aerospace or related industry.
You must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation:
configuration, preliminary sizing, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly, GD&T), material and processes, certification requirements, weight control, and industry design standards.
Your familiarity with aircraft systems overall operation and function is considered an asset. Your familiarity with in-service operation and aircraft maintenance is an asset. Your familiarity with aircraft interiors is considered an asset. You have knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia, and MS Office is required. Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is an asset. You must be fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset.Job:
