SUMMARY:

Managed by Atlific Hotels, the full-service, upscale Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour overlooks Victoria's vibrant and dynamic downtown, located just steps from world class attractions, shopping, venues, and dining.

With 236 elegantly appointed rooms and 5,000 square feet of meeting space, this hotel is committed to providing exceptional and personalized customer experiences that set new standards for modern hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming the guest upon arrival.
Registration of guests including all administrative aspects such as verifying information and processing guest billing and payments.
Identifying guest needs and proactively working to handle all requests.
Responding to all guest problems and concerns.
Ensuring that the guest's expectations are met by delivering quality guest service in a prompt and professional manner while recognizing that each guest is unique.
Contributing to the teamwork atmosphere within the hotel and to the ongoing improvement in the delivery of quality service at the Front Desk, At Your Service and Concierge Departments.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous hotel experience in a similar position is an asset.
Commitment to superior customer service.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to practice and maintain consistent key standards.
Sales and upselling skills an asset.
Comprehensive knowledge of Victoria/Vancouver and surrounding areas.
Ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work under pressure.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work a range of hours including evenings and weekends.
