We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our New Product Development Team in Utopia, ON.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible to assist project managers in day-to-day functions critical to achieving desirable project outcomes that conform to division, corporate, and regulatory requirements.

Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project's lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities

Propose appropriate product solutions to consultants and customers based on site conditions and design specifications
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
Develop product quotations based on tender documents and drawings
Schedule plant operations to meet project timelines and optimize equipment and resource utilization
Resolve design issues by engaging with customers, consultants, plant personnel, and other stakeholders
Manage projects on various software platforms; ensure projects stay on track with respect to cost and schedule
Conduct site visits (in the GTHA, 25%) to ensure appropriateness of design and site preparations
Other new product development tasks as needed, such as presentations, technical research, etc.

Skills, Education & Experience

Project management/coordination experience and managing schedules is an asset
2-4 years on-site, construction industry experience (preferred)
Civil/Mechanical engineering technology Diploma or University background (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products
Low to medium proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset
Working knowledge of mechanical equipment required for concrete products and systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
