About The Role


The
Vice President, Digital Solutions & Technology will serve as a member of the Executive Team and will provide strategic and execution guidance over its digitalization initiatives.

The VP, of Digital Solutions & Technology, will report directly to the CEO.


This role will drive innovative but pragmatic technology thought leadership throughout the company, partnering alongside the lines of business to understand, advise, plan, and deliver the automation and technology solutions required to meet E.B.

Horsman's business objectives of increased revenue growth through digital channels and increased operating efficiency through automation and digital service delivery.


The VP, of Digital Solutions & Technology will be responsible for developing the strategy and plan, as well as overseeing and driving the transitioning of the Company's IT operations to a managed service model over a multi-year window transformation of the IT Department and its operations.


What are the Key Accountabilities?

Strategic Business Partner. A trusted business advisor to the company's leadership and lines of business. Identify new opportunities to use technology to streamline business processes. Develop a future-proofed technology infrastructure platform.

Business Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement. Lead IT enhancement projects leveraging industry-leading practices and driving continuous improvement

Business Technology Architecture and Planning. Translate strategic priorities into operational reality. Develop, recommend, and implement a road map that scales the company's technology platforms. Assess future IT requirements and develop roadmaps and recommendations to achieve a unified and interoperable set of technology services.

IT Operations. Oversee the security strategy and implementation of the company's systems to be protected and compliant. Lead the evaluation of IT products, partners, and associated vendors

Data Governance and Analytics. Leading practices to establish data governance, business intelligence, and analytics in establishing and governing product, customer, and employee master data. Collaborate with the lines of business to transition resources currently embedded outside of IT into a corporate team under your responsibility.

Leadership, Communication, and Culture. Hire, develop, coach, appraise, reward, and retain a highly qualified IT department staff; motivate and mentor IT management and staff; lead by example through participation and involvement in and oversight of IT activities; plan, provide continuity, and lead succession planning efforts for all critical IT positions. Assess the health of the current IT organization as well as IT-type resources outside of IT.

Finance and Value Creation. Provide cost-effective management, rationalization, and simplification of the company's portfolio of systems and projects. Establish criteria for assessing the performance of E.B. Horsman's technology vendors.


What You'll Bring to This Role?

  • 8+ years of experience developing and managing an IT workforce in a highgrowth, entrepreneurial environment.
  • 8+ years of experience leading projects that transform business operations using technology.
  • Proven technical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of IT experience in tools, technologies, and architecture models with the ability to drive strategy, and also roll up the sleeves and switch to a fair amount of detail/execution.

Strong Technical Knowledge in:


  • Microsoft 365, including Azure AD & SSO
  • Microsoft's technology stack includes Active Directory and Server OS, GPO, IIS, Windows 10, MS Office
  • Experience with Business intelligence platforms
  • Experience with Data Analytics and Predictive Analytics
