    KDC is located in Knowlton in Estrie, about 40 minutes from Sherbrooke and Granby. It is a global supplier of the world's leading brands in beauty products, personal care and home care.

    The Customer Care Representative is the main link between our customers and the KDC production site. He receives customer requests, ensures that they comply with the contractual agreement, and enters them into our ERP system.

    Through calls and meetings, the Customer Care Representative develops a solid business relationship with our customers, based on trust and mutual respect.

    He communicates with customers on the status of orders or shipments, and strives to improve communication and service levels. He works with production planners to find solutions when problems arise. Finally, he focuses on process improvement and is always looking for opportunities to develop his skills.

    Schedule:
    Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 a.m.
    Location: 315 Knowlton Rd. Knowlton, QC.
    Salary range: 57K to 70K (depending on experience)

    Responsibilities
    As a Customer Service Representative you will:

    • Communicate with customers to understand production requests and the need for adjustments to orders already placed;
    • Enter customer purchase orders into our ERP system, after validating that they are within parameters;
    • Share requests and changes with production planners;
    • Communicate to customers the production dates associated with their orders, as well as any performance reports requested;
    • Maintain customers' work orders and projections up to date over a 12month horizon;
    • Communicate order progress to customers;
    • Follow the process established for order cancellation requests or requests to postpone orders;
    • Manage customer inventory and promptly dispatch inventory charges as stipulated in contracts.;
    • Develop and maintain a clear vision of the level of business with its customers and quickly communicate changes to the account manager and management;
    • Analyze and propose ways to improve key business unit processes, and participate in plant process improvements as needed.
    Qualifications
    Skills expected of a

    Customer Care Representative:

    • DEC or Bachelor's degree in operations and production management or equivalent experience;
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment;
    • Experience in customer service;
    • Strong communication skills in French and English;
    • Good computer skills: AS/400, Excel and Microsoft Office;
    • Demonstrates strong leadership and business judgment;
    • Good knowledge of continuous improvement principles (Lean, Kata, Problem Solving);
    • Knowledge of purchasing and planning procedures;
    • Negotiation skills and experience.
