What is the opportunity?


As a Bid Technician you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, monitoring, controlling and closure of a RFQ and RFP on a Bid Process.

You will work closely with management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support and external stakeholders.


What you'll do here:


  • Facilitate discussions to bid or not to bid.
  • Collaborate with the management team.
  • Identify client priorities and win themes.
  • Create and execute a proposal project plan.
  • Hold kickoff and debrief meetings.
  • Act as point of contact with stakeholders.
  • Manage the proposal team (anyone contributing to RFPs).
  • Ensure proposals and presentations are brand compliant.
  • Report proposal progress to executive management.
  • Submit final proposal for consideration.
  • Maintain the RFQ and RFP response database.
  • Prioritize RFQ and RFPs based on likelihood of winning and value.
  • Track RFQ and RFP data and win rate.
  • Be the administrator for the company's RFP software handle.
  • Implementation projects for 1 2 customers simultaneously.
  • Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
  • Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders internal/external.
  • Ability to coach teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practices.
  • Proposal automation software (or similar) experience.
  • Document template management in line with company branding.
  • Strong time management / prioritization skills.
  • Strong written English language skills.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience.
  • Architect/engineers.
  • Advanced MS Word / Power Point skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
