The Compliance Governance & Operations Analyst I is part of the Compliance Academy team.

The Compliance Academy is the center of excellence for training-related activities in Global Compliance, running a dedicated in-house training program for Global Compliance team members focused on the knowledge and skills that promote core competencies and excellence in TD's professional compliance practice.

The Academy is also the hub for mandatory training in Global Compliance, supporting compliance units regarding their tasks for mandatory compliance training.

Job Requirements

  • Help create a place of learning, instill a mindset of growth and drive change (assess needs, devise solution, create strategy, implement) in Compliance, e.g., create new and maintain Thrive pathways (RCM 101, future Compliance Unit 101 pathways); webinars; digital badges (micro credentials related to pathways), guide new colleagues on their learning journey.

Engage Stakeholders:

Talk, Listen and Partner: Be an ambassador for the Compliance Academy by attending team meetings and leadership gatherings to explain the Academy, its goals, model, training programs and resources to create interest and support in Compliance and with key non-Compliance stakeholders.

Listen to them so we know their needs and ideas and move the Academy forward accordingly

Additional Information

  • MS Sharepoint knowledge
  • Experience in working in and navigating large organizations, multiple centres of excellence and stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proactive and flexible to work in a changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident to complete basic data related task, using mostly excel to track metrics with the goal to create meaningful reports
