    ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The Project Manager role in Vancouver involves overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they align with the schedule, budget, and specifications. Safety, planning, quality, and cost management are key areas of focus for this role.

    • Lead projects focusing on cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performance
    • Estimate project costs and negotiate scope changes
    • Set project objectives, policies, and performance standards
    • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
    • Plan and monitor construction schedules
    • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
    • Monitor progress, budget, and forecast
    • Negotiate contractual agreements and identify potential risks
    • Ensure availability of materials and equipment
    • Complete cost forecasting and productivity reports

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years as a Project Manager in construction
    • 10+ years in utilities and/or civil industry
    • Experience in estimation, procurement, and project commissioning
    • Experience with utility work and design-build projects
    • Experience in WWTP projects

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree or Diploma in related fields
    • Certifications such as P.Eng., PMP, and Gold Seal
    • Experience in electrical trade can substitute education requirements

    SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Contract management
    • Construction scheduling and planning
    • Understanding of financial statements
    • Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project
    • Willingness to travel
    • Valid Driver's License

    Salary range for this position is $92,000 to $125,000 and is based on qualifications. Rewards package includes benefits like vehicle allowance, insurance, pension plan, and career development programs.
