    Full-Time 12 Month Contract

    Compensation:
    $30 - $45 CAD /hr

    Asamaka Industries Ltd offers Professional Engineering Services with a specialization in Electrical Design and Control System Integration.

    Throughout a project's life cycle, we continuously focus on improving the efficiency of the process, electrical designs, safety requirements, quality requirements, and operator interfaces.

    Design, configure, and program automation and control systems using PLC, HMI, Robotic, and SCADA systems.
    # Complete controls designs and electrical schematics; Develop PLC code and HMI programs using Allen Bradley Studio5000, FactoryTalk View, Siemens TIA Portal, and applicable programming software.
    # Develop a safety PLC program in accordance with OSHA, RIA, and CSA standards for the automated system to ensure proper function.
    # Provide detailed documentation throughout each project.
    # Collaborate with customers, project managers, engineers, electricians, and other subject matter experts to achieve project objectives.
    # Commission automation systems at the machine builder and final customer facilities.

    Programming all controls related devices, including but not restricted to: PLC & HMIs (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron), Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Omron).

    Welding equipment (Telsonic, Hermann).
    Knowledge of custom machine building and processes including welding, assembly, vision, laser, etc.
    Understanding of Ontario Electrical Code and Electrical Circuits. Ability to work openly in a team environment and communicate ideas and problems clearly to the projects team.
    Ability to meet deadlines and execute multiple project tasks.
    Ability to travel for on-site commissioning (USA, Canada, Mexico). While we strive to maintain a local workload, domestic and global travel may be required. The locations and length of travel will vary depending on the projects and workload.
    Valid Driver's License & access to reliable transportation. Valid passport and must be willing and able to travel locally throughout the USA and Mexico.
    Degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Robotics & Automation is required. Applicants must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Controls and Automation Industry. Bodyshop experience a must, Chrysler experience an asset.
