Key Job Elements and Responsibilities

• Complete component level design tasks while keeping supervisor regularly inform on progress and issues encountered. Ensure all designs are peer reviewed by technical lead or assigned mentor.
• Areas of focus is expertise on one or more domains of Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4)

Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems:

radios/antennas and intercom systems, navigation systems, cameras and electro-optic sensors, video networks, unscrewed systems (UAV, UGV, etc), designing wiring harnesses for such systems.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• University degree or College Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
• 3 to 5 years relevant engineering experience.
• Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Project Management experience.
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
• Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Ability to understand and review to company drawing standards.
• Expertise in harness design tools such as Siemens' Capital Enterprise suite or Zuken
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620D, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
• Experience with C4ISR systems on military vehicles
• Eng. or ability to obtain PEng designation
• Proficient with processes and products
