+ Competitive benefits that include a defined contribution plan, personal spending account, Job summaryThis Director will assist in ALM development for multiple portfolios including insurance entities by evaluating inputs such as existing holdings capital charges actuarial liability profiles liquidity needs capital market assumptions Lead source research analyze investment managers across all CCG portfolios using both quantitative qualitative methods ensuring contractual standards service level agreements are met Contribute develop intellectual content analysis industry trends pension insurance asset management assessments new asset classes Monitor rebalance transactions among investment managers custodian Develop reporting metrics KPIs analyze performance act lead presenting monthly quarterly reports Investment Committee Board Serve key point contact day-to-day relationship management external partners custodians consultants investment managers financial institutions Ensure compliance regulations OSFI FSRA guidelines Perform other duties required
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree Finance Commerce Business Economics Statistics Mathematics related discipline
- Fundamental understanding investment products across asset classes equity fixed income securitized products preferred shares private equity Infrastructure private credit real estate Familiarity accounting regulatory risk management strategic frameworks Canadian P&C insurers operate Thorough knowledge Liability Driven Investments
