Project Manager - Scarborough, Canada - Tradition Fine Foods
Description
The position is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of a project including, but not limited to, scope, execution, and budget, quality and timing.
This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute projects from initiation to completion using End to End Commercialization process.
- Lead customer trials and plan start up productions for commercialization projects ensuring "Right First Time" execution.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including kickoff meetings, project meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned, postlaunch reviews, and other necessary meetings.
- Manage risks and timelines throughout project lifecycle while monitoring project progress and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including R&D, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production and Supply Chain to ensure project objectives are met.
- Execute PMO guidelines, methodologies and framework during project execution.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred and an asset.
- 58 years of Project Management or related experience
