ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATOR
***As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for daily processing of invoices, cash posting and collection of accounts.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Processing functions for daily invoicing; system set for auto invoicing reports, printing of daily invoices, and daily balance of invoices to shippednotinvoiced reports (SNI), daily maintenance and entering of spreadsheet information (i.e. freight amounts, credit card transactions, SNI vs daily shipping register).
  • Administration of credit memos.
  • Posting daily bank deposits.
  • Posting of the Canadian and US wire/electronic funds received.
  • Post and administer all credit card transactions.
  • Maintenance of customer database (i.e. addition of new customers in computer system, addition of ship to, bill to addresses, contact names, tax codes, etc).
  • Collections, account reconciliations and issuing and maintaining Aged Listings of Accounts.
  • Administration of credit memos.
  • Filing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Completion of high school
  • Two years or more of experience in Accounting or Payroll
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Oracle
  • Attention to details, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast paced environment
  • Motivated selfstarter with capabilities to work within a fast paced team oriented environment
