Principal Cost Controller
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the overall cost analysis activities on one or more major complex projects; assuming responsibility for preparation, quality and accuracy of project cost reports;
- Establish liaison with project management and clients on all matters relating to cost control; making periodic site visits to verify field cost reporting.
- Assigning and reviewing work of subordinate cost analysis staff.
- Works with selfinitiated interaction with supervisor and selfinitiated technical guidance.
- Reviews work for technical accuracy and adequacy.
- Plans, controls & reports on project work.
- May have direct reports and provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members.
- Proactively sets priorities related to complex situations having multiproject and/or organizational impact.
- Experience in integrated cost control Software and tools, Ecosys experience is preferred.
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Typically, 10+ years relevant experience. Recognized as a specialist, providing consultation to others.
