Early Childhood Educator (Casual)

Richmond, BC

Starting wage $25.95-$26.83 per hour (plus an additional $4 per hour from

Government wage enhancement program).
Join our team at Treehouse early Learning Centre and work alongside like-minded
- people who welcome challenges, strive for inclusion and encourage children to reach

YOUR IMPACT:

Supervise children and ensure equipment and physical environment is free of

- health and safety hazards.

Encourage independence, problem solving skills, and active learning to build

- self-esteem in an inclusive and respectful environment.

Demonstrate positive adult/child interaction using effective and appropriate

- communication with children.

YOUR CAPABILITIES:

Early Childhood Education Certificate with a minimum of one years' experience

working with children and families and children, including children with special
needs.

Post Basic Specials Needs certification and experience working with children

with additional support needs an asset.

Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability and experience to deliver inclusive programming with a

sensitivity to people from diverse cultural, health and socioeconomic
backgrounds.

Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
