Position


Navitas is seeking to employ a
Digital Marketing Specialist (1-Year Contract) to join our North American team in
Burnaby, Canada.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for new student recruitment and the design and implementation of the marketing and recruitment plans for specific markets.

This role reports to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing and Recruitment at Fraser International College (FIC) and working closely with the Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a dynamic social content calendar, achieving KPIs through effective content planning and realtime customer engagement.
  • Generate, repurpose, edit, publish, and share content (original text, images, or video) to engage, attract, and connect with our community across FIC's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Review performance metrics from social media platforms to inform and cater strategy for FIC's platforms.
  • Work with FIC marketing team to coordinate target countries, objectives, platforms, and budget for digital campaigns.
  • Produce effective and relevant copy, visuals, and content for FIC's digital campaigns.
  • In collaboration with senior digital campaign coordinator, optimize campaigns postlaunch and report on campaign performance.
  • Work closely with the FIC Student Success and Student Experience teams to highlight the level of support, service and amplify the student experience at FIC.
  • Evaluating important metrics that affect our website traffic and campaign performance.
  • Stay abreast of digital marketing and social media trends for FIC.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree and/or suitable communications/marketing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least two years' experience in content creation or social media management capacity.
  • Experience using analytics and performance data to inform priorities and deliver results.
  • Savvy and knowledgeable in social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Desirable Skills

  • Experience using Adobe Suite or Canva.
  • Ability to speak a second Language.
  • Study or live abroad experience is considered an asset.
