    Description

    Iris's direct client, one of the Canada's Top 5 financial institutions, is looking to hire a Sr Core Java Developer for a long contract opportunity in Toronto, ON.

    Role:
    Senior Java Developer (with Big Data Experience)

    Location:
    Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position – 3 Days in office every week)

    Duration:
    Long Term Contract (Open ended SoW)

    Must-Have:
    Need 9 – 10+ years of development experience using Core Java, Spring framework, Microservices, etc.
    Must have experience in Regex or Perl Scripting.
    SQL (Sybase or Snowflake will also be considered)

    Big Data/SparkHands on experience working with container based technologies like docker, kubernetesExperience with bigdata and cloud based technologiesExperience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologyNice to have skills:
    Experience working on Modern technologies - cloud/Kubernetes, GenAI/LLM etc.
