As a
Design Lead, you'll be the primary design contact in setting strategic, backlog, and creative direction across many of our products.

You'll work collaboratively to develop and produce best-in-class solutions that exceed business objectives and user goals, while maintaining brand integrity.

You'll mentor designers (UX, visual, and content) and inspire cross-functional teams to create products that engage and excite. You'll champion design thinking and help define what success looks like by aligning objectives to deliver quantifiable business results.

- always asking questions, experimenting with new approaches and driving the creative process to meet our clients when, where, and how they bank.


How You'll Succeed

Strategic Thinking - Take a holistic view to all tasks You drive, manage and execute the digital initiatives. You have a keen ability to provide insights, recommendations and digital strategic direction based on CIBC's vision, business needs and objectives (KPIs), industry trends, competitive landscape and metrics insights. You have the ability to pull metrics reporting and provide strategic insights to improve and enhance digital strategic programs for CIBC and the Business.

You are a great communicator, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis, findings and recommendations, then package key messages for senior executives. You have a proven ability to partner, build confidence and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization. You are a self-starter, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and develop processes and governance from the ground up. Knowledgeable in SEO and AODA Level AA and ensures that SEO and AODA best practices and requirements are met for all digital properties
