eurOptimum is looking for highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our Retail team. This position requires excellent customer service and strong organizational skills. This position is to fill a 12 to 16 month maternity leave contract.
This role is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office; however, in the first few months the Project Coordinator will find themselves spending more time in the office where they will learn the most and receive hands-on training.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide fullcycle project assistance to the retail manager and team lead and other department staff with all phases of retail projects including assisting with: design, manufacturing, installation, and after sales service;
- Prepare accurate sales reports outlining progress on a weekly basis;
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained and client's needs are satisfied with the goal of developing strong, longterm strategic relationships;
- Build and foster relationships with suppliers as required;
- Develop knowledge of current industry practices, use of materials, and competition;
- Source new suppliers and installers as required;
- Assist in maintaining an efficient, and streamlined department;
- Update current processes and put practices into place;
- Coordinate all phases of multiple projects;
- Assist with project estimating;
- Maintain and update project documentation as required;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in a project coordinator role (experience within Print, Fixtures, Displays & Signage, and Millwork industries is highly advantageous);
- Diploma or Certificate in business administration/office administration/project administration or the equivalent;
- Exceptional customer service skills you must possess a positive and good attitude with the ability to maintain good communication with team members, clients, and vendors;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills you must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively;
- Strong business writing acumen;
- Must be proactive, communicative, and able to work with mínimal supervision;
- A quick learner, selfmotivated and extremely detailedoriented;
- Thrives in a fastpaced, multifaceted environment;
- Highly proficiency with Microsoft Office programs especially Excel and Mail Merge;
- Knowledge of NetSuite system is advantageous;
- Experience or familiar with estimation process is valuable;
- Resourceful and creative;
- Strong problemsolving skills and a solid solutionsoriented mindset;
