Description

Primary roles of the applicant:


  • Complete ICES privacy and ethics documentation for research projects
  • Support the development of analytical plans for research projects
  • Prepare presentations, reports, abstracts, and manuscripts for peerreviewed scientific journals
  • Organize and contribute to projects and meetings with the internal team, trainees, and external collaborators
This job description is not exhaustive. Additional duties remain added as projects progress.


Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):


  • Strong training and experience in epidemiology and biostatistics
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and protocol requirements
  • Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (TCPS2) and the International Council on Harmonisation
  • Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
  • Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
  • Superior writing skills
  • Strong initiative and selfdirection
  • Time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Flexibility to accommodate periodic demanding deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills to work with our internal team and external collaborators

Preferred Qualifications:


  • MSc, MPH, or MAH (Epidemiology, Public Health, or something related) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of statistical analyses
  • Grant writing support experience
  • Project management or coordination experience

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal


Salary:
Min:$32.004/hr - Max:$46.147/hr
