Job Description:

Ski Valet Attendant

First impressions are everything Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Ski Valet Attendant with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

As you personally greet our guests and assist them throughout the day, your warm welcome is an integral part of our winter operations team

What you will be doing:

Ensure all equipment match to the guest's identification number/pass
Assist Guest Services with the transportation of skis to and from ski storage
Efficiently store all ski boots and ensure that the warmers are in good working order
Ensure the Ski Valet area is clean and tidy at all times (storage area, equipment, hallway in the immediate vicinity and entrance of area)
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

Service focused personality is essential
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Knowledge of Whistler area is an asset
Ability to drive standard is required
Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required
Class 4 BC Driver's License is an asset

Physical aspects include but are not limited to:

Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting, up to 75+ lbs
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
