Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) research at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute located at the Civic Campus.

The clinical research assistant (CRA) will primarily support two of Dr.


Eve Tsai's main projects:
the Praxis SCI Registry, and international clinical trials led by Mitsubishi and Abbvie.


Responsibilities:

Management of the PRAXIS Spinal Cord Injury Registry

  • Manage patient files on the Global Research Platform (GRP) on behalf of the Civic Campus and the Rehab Center (General Campus), which would mean transfer of data from EPIC EMR to Sponsors Databases/ Registries (Data entry).
  • Submit Praxis progress reports to the Sponsors such as Praxis which would include the information on total number patients whose data has been entered from the TOH site.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):


  • Must be proficient in basic computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Evidence of training in Tri-Council Policy Statement 2 (TCPS2), the international conference of harmonization Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GC), TGD (Transport of Dangerous Goods),

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Secondary School Diploma

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year part-time contract with the possibility of renewal. This is a part time position.


Salary:
Min:$18.786/hr - Max:$23.914/hr
