Position Information Position Title Part-Time Academic: INDG 4001 Treaty in Contemporary Society - Fall Posting Number PTAP2472P Department/Unit Multidisciplinary Centre Location Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Job Summary & Key Responsibilities Indigenous Studies Program, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Dalhousie UniversityThe Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching INDG : Treaty in Contemporary Society, an in-person class to be held on Monday and Wednesday, Fall Term: September-December, 2024) at the Studley Campus of Dalhousie University.
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures, marking student assignments, development of course content on Brightspace, and submitting grades. In addition to course time, the instructor is required to hold two office hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Indigenous Studies program Coordinator.
