    Job Description

    As the Spa Maintenance Supervisor, you are responsible for supporting the Regional Hydrotherapy Facilities Manager in maintaining Kananaskis Nordic Spa and ensuring top-notch water quality in all pools and hot tubs. You'll help lead the team to keep all mechanical systems, pools, and facilities up to our brand standards.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Assist the Facilities Manager in overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • Manage daily pool and hot tub operations to meet health regulations
    • Coordinate work orders and maintenance tasks
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
    • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing maintenance issues promptly
    • Track facility operations tasks and inventory
    • Train and supervise maintenance staff
    • Prioritize effective communication within the team
    • Lead by example in maintenance duties
    • Prioritize Health and Safety standards
    • Act on behalf of the Facilities Manager when necessary
    • Coordinate with agencies for repair work
    • Handle administrative tasks like payroll and scheduling
    • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation
    • Perform any other duties assigned by Leadership

    Our Ideal Candidate

    • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes
    • Experience in pool operations and mechanical services
    • Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to train and develop team members
    • Related post-secondary education and certifications

    Working Conditions

    • Shift work, standing or sitting for long periods, communication skills
    • Manual dexterity, physical work, working with chemicals
    • Willingness to work in various weather conditions
