What you will be doing:
Training Facilitation, Needs Analysis & Coordination:
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify and develop training programs internally or externally sourced.
- Lead dynamic and interactive training sessions to advance employees' skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Tailor training programs and onboarding schedules to suit position requirements for corporate and other client groups.
- Cofacilitate and provide backup support for any required training sessions.
Learning Technologies & Instructional Designing:
- Generate content tailored for employee training, incorporating both administrator and end user instruction.
- Use virtual training platforms to design immersive and interactive online learning modules.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies to develop eLearning courses and propose improvements accordingly.
- Create and revise training materials for internal audiences, ranging from presentations, manuals, programs, and online resources.
- Manage and administer the Learning Management System (UKG) to ensure accurate monitoring of employee training records.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the team and client groups as required and fulfill additional responsibilities as necessary.
What you will bring to the table:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is required. Diploma or Certification in Instructional Design or Adult Education is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office 365 (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint. Adobe); functional knowledge of Learning Management Systems, Content Authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Rise is preferred.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodology and adult learning theory.
- Good communication skills, facilitation/presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams with various needs and objectives, experienced in creating communication messages and plans and participating in meetings/presentations.
- Developing analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment.
- Minimum two (2) to four (4) years of experience in training, talent management or organizational development including training needs analysis, design, development, and delivery experience.
- One (1) to (2) years of team building and/or supervisory/management/future leaders training experience is an advantage.
