Description
Bray's is currently seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time cooks to become valued members of our culinary team.As a small plates kitchen with a strong emphasis on local seafood, we pride ourselves on our dynamic menu that's constantly evolving.
We are in search of cooks who thrive on adaptation and continuous learning.Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience
Compensation:
- Wage: $1821 per hour (dependent on experience) plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute a diverse range of dishes
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all food items
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the workspace
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering when necessary
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Shifts may extend until 11pm or 12am
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork aptitude
- Consistent ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
