Job Summary


Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience and Human Resources, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities globally.

This includes providing consultation and support to hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring and onboarding process in alignment with applicable legislation.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage numerous recruitment requisitions simultaneously across all three regions.
  • Develop, administer, and manage new hire orientation, onboarding, and mentoring programs.
  • Execute long and shortterm strategies to build and maintain viable talent pipelines.
  • Bring forward ideas and solutions to assist with improving recruitment strategies and hiring high performers.
  • Improve our social media presence and overall brand awareness in the market.
  • Partner with appropriate cooperative education programs and other educational institutions as required in order to tap into appropriate talent channels.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and job fairs to educate students and the community about the Company.
  • Administer and track recruitment activities.
  • Administer and track new hire training as needed.
  • Partner with the business to understand current and future staffing needs to build a strategic sourcing and selection campaign.
  • Execute high volume recruitment in accordance with established targets and timelines.
  • Ensure the company adheres to all applicable employment legislation related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • General HR duties as required.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful full cycle recruitment experience in a corporate, international environment required.
  • Previous recruitment experience in a Technology or SaaS company preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment
  • Thorough knowledge of all relevant Employment related legislation that is applicable to the countries in which the Company operates in.
  • Thorough understanding of privacy legislation and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate labour market trends.
  • Able to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills are required to support multiple staffing demands and accomplish many tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of accuracy, sense of urgency, and strong attention to detail.
