About the Role
The Business Development Administrator (BDA) reports to the Regional Senior Business Development Manager with indirect reporting lines to the Head of Business Development and other MaplesFS senior professionals.
The successful individual will be responsible for business development, client relationship management and marketing event administrative-level support for a large cross section of Fund Services business units throughout the Americas.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Administrator role will work collaboratively within a global marketing team that provides integrated marketing support for MaplesFS and the wider Maples Group and will assist with the below responsibilities:
- Providing general business development administrative support (processing invoices, data entry etc.); by utilizing standard tools and systems to document, communicate, measure, monitor and execute marketing activities
- Coordinating overseas marketing trips and participation at conferences, seminars and events;
- Assisting with preparing business development proposals, presentations and other materials as needed;
- Assisting with the maintenance of the firm's CRM system including maintaining and updating all relevant target lists;
- Assisting with the data mining and auditing of the firm's pipeline tracking system including exporting and collating data for respective business unit or office reporting monthly;
- Liaising with team members in other offices to ensure that there is consistency and coordination of all business development activities; and
- Carrying out any other duties which may from time to time be required.

- Consistently producing high volumes of work whilst maintaining a proficient performance on the job;
- Producing accurate, neat and thorough work;
- Being able to generate original ideas, finding more efficient/effective ways of doing tasks and providing useful suggestions for improvements; and
- Effectively planning and organising work including showing an ability to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Providing support on adhoc projects as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business management or a related field;
- Previous work or intern of experience in marketing, business development, sales operations, or related field with knowledge of the financial services industry is preferred.
- substantial project, time management and organisational skills with acute attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- comfortable following and reinforcing policies and procedures;
- self-motivated with a tremendous can-do attitude;
- proactive solution-oriented approach with a committed team player work ethic and overall professionalism.
