Major Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop a privacy compliance framework and a Privacy Compliance Plan through creation and development of auditable documentation, processes, procedures and reporting, as well as outline and document responsibilities and privacy mechanisms.
  • Create and maintain a personal information data breach plan for information held by ENMAX
  • Conduct Privacy Investigations related to privacy breaches and privacy concerns.
  • Prepare breach notification submission to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta
  • Provide privacy expertise to EPC & EEC and shared services.
  • Document and acknowledge privacy complaints and inquiries for escalation to the Privacy Officer
  • Manage privacy training development, delivery and completions for all ENMAX personnel and business units
  • Coordinate statuses of privacy investigations and resolution
  • Oversee the compliance program for commitments made in ENMAX Power Corporation (EPC) and ENMAX Energy Corporation (EEC) in regulatory filings

Education Required:

  • Related postsecondary education in areas such as business, law, criminology, regulatory science, political science, public administration

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8 + years' experience with a background developing and managing company privacy programs Experience with Alberta Privacy Programs Compliance professional certification or Project Management Certificate is an asset Complete IAPP Course on Canadian Privacy Training is an asset

Location:

This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB).

You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
