Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical guidance and support for our team of technicians
- Assess the technical skill levels of individual technicians and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance the technical proficiency of our workforce.
- Provide handson coaching and instruction to technicians on best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies in plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC
- Collaborate with management to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure our team remains uptodate and compliant
- Coordinate and facilitate technical training sessions, workshops, and certification programs for technicians
- Act as a mentor and resource for technicians, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their professional development goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Assess the needs of our buildings and clients and create strategies to make improvements where needed or desired
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning industry
- Journeyman certification in plumbing, HVAC, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in technical training, coaching, or design
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems, equipment, and components
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
- Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and excellence
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
