Position Summary:


Bringing strong customer focus, experience with key stakeholders across multiple disciplines, as well as strategic thinking and business acumen, the incumbent will work cross-functionally to develop and consolidate the strategic and tactical plans of the Canadian Vaccines Business Unit.


The role works very closely with the cross-functional team (Marketing, Sales, Business Ops, Policy and Medical, Regulatory etc.), North America and Global team to both gain insight and provide support in alignment with the overall strategic and tactical plans.

She/ he will need to assess and revise their analysis and plans on an on-going basis by recognizing changes in the market place and by understanding whether adjustment is required to increase impact potential.


The role also provides added value support to the General Manager Vaccines Canada in the preparation and management of the leadership team meetings, presentations to senior management, including head of North America and Global (such as strat plan, budget and business reviews).

Responsibilities for planning, meeting coordination, agenda management, minutes, action tracking and close out of key complex meetings.


The role finally provides support on ad-hoc key, strategic projects, including gathering, evaluating and analyzing information from a variety of carefully selected sources to address topics/ issues as directed by the Leadership team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Projects.
  • Support of the General Management on strategic projects.
  • Proactively drive and enforce our Play to Win culture change.
  • Act as sparring partner and source of inspiration for strategy alignment to General Management and leadership team.
  • Challenge an open discussion, bring in strategic view, innovation, and expertise from external sourceAgile Transformation.
  • Design & plan the country GtM roadmap and ensure alignment with overall Global GtM ambition.
  • Engage with the leadership team to ensure alignment & facilitate acceleration across franchises.
  • Lead implementation of transformation initiatives & ensure the cascade of our GtM change story.
  • Work closely locally and globally together with crossfunctional transformation team (Medical, Marketing, Sales & BO&S teams) with a cando attitude to accelerate operational excellence.
  • Understand the learnings & needs of customer facing structures to support the mitigation of constraints and barriers.

Project Management:


  • Leading and/or overseeing large, often crossfunctional strategic projects or initiatives.
  • Bringing together multiple stakeholders and helping drive decisions.
  • Researching, benchmarking, analyzing data and making recommendations.
  • Developing, adapting, and reviewing systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Ensuring the documentation and transparency of key processes, and adhering to basic knowledge management principles.
  • Acting as liaison with compliance as well as internal auditors to support leadership and the broader team in SOP rollouts, audit coordination, and governance project execution.

Management, Leadership and People Development:


  • Promoting, through leadership, the values of Sanofi Canada and the specific vision/ambition of the General Medicines organization.
